Upscale: increase resolution and add realism

Let's get more out of a finished render with Maquete's Upscale tool. Open Refine, then choose Upscale. Select the upload area. Pick an image from your renders or projects, or upload one from your computer. Once your image is loaded, you'll see two options. Increase resolution and Add realism. Increase resolution makes your image larger and sharper while preserving its existing appearance. Add realism adds more realistic textures and finer detail so materials and small details can change. Let's start with Increase resolution. Choose this option, then check the expected output dimensions and credit cost. If your image needs resizing first, Maquete will show you the options. Select Increase resolution to begin. When the result is ready, drag the slider to compare it with your original. Select 100% to inspect the image at full size, then drag to move around. Look closely at upholstery, wood grain and architectural edges. Select Fit to see the whole image again. Now let's try Add realism. Select Upscale another, and choose a different render. Choose Add realism. You'll see two controls. Creativity sets how much the image is allowed to change. Texture controls how much surface detail is added, such as fabric weave and wood grain. Start with the default settings. If the result is too subtle, you can try increasing them slightly. Check the expected output dimensions and credit cost, then select Add realism. When it finishes, compare the result with your original and zoom in again. Check that the new detail looks natural and that the materials, furniture and architecture still match your design. When you're happy, select Download upscaled render. Choose Increase resolution for a larger, sharper image that preserves the original look. Choose Add realism for richer textures and finer detail. With either option, compare the result with your original before downloading.
