Terms of Service
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Maquete.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Maquete.
Description of Service
Maquete.ai is an AI-powered architectural rendering tool that transforms SketchUp prints and design files into photorealistic renders. The Service is intended for professional use by architects, interior designers, and related built-environment professionals.
Account Registration
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at contact@maquete.ai if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not: upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights; attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service; use the Service to generate content that is misleading, fraudulent, or harmful; or share your account with any third party. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions.
Your Content & Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of any design files, images, and content you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant Maquete a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely to provide you with the Service. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and will not use it to train AI models without your explicit consent. Renders generated by the Service using Your Content are yours to use commercially without restriction.
Data Storage
The Service stores uploaded designs, references, project data, prompts, renders and videos to provide render history, projects, sharing and related features. You can export your account data and delete your account in Settings. Account deletion removes stored customer content and files, subject to short-lived backups and records we must retain by law. Individual render deletion is not currently available.
Payments & Subscriptions
Paid plans renew automatically for the monthly or annual period shown at checkout until cancelled. Any trial length, the date and amount of the first charge, and the recurring price are shown before confirmation. You can cancel through the billing controls; access and credit treatment follow the terms shown there. Credit packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions, and are added after Stripe confirms payment. Except where required by law or stated at purchase, used credits and completed AI processing are non-refundable. Price changes apply prospectively with reasonable notice. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer cancellation, refund or renewal rights.
Availability & Disclaimers
We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maquete disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. AI-generated renders are provided as creative outputs and may not perfectly reflect real-world conditions.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, Maquete shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion stops active billing, revokes access and removes stored customer content. We may retain legally required finance, tax, fraud-prevention and dispute records, with identifying account data removed where possible. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Provisions that by nature survive termination, including payment records, intellectual property and disclaimers, remain effective.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
