Let’s edit an existing render with Adjust. Select Upload render. Choose an image from your previous renders or projects, or upload one from your computer. For this example, I’m changing the floor from light oak to dark walnut. Under ‘What should change?’, describe the edit in plain language. I’m writing: ‘Change only the floor to dark walnut with a matte finish.’ ‘Keep the furniture, walls, camera angle and lighting unchanged.’ Be specific about the area you want to change and what you want to keep. Start with one focused edit at a time. If you have a particular material in mind, upload a reference photograph. You can also select Choose a material to use a saved material, or browse Maquete’s materials, or specify a solid colour and finish. Explain how the reference should be used—for example, ‘Apply this material to the floor only.’ Select Send. Maquete reviews your request and chooses the editing method. If it asks a follow-up question, answer in the chat. Read Maquete’s summary of the proposed edit. If anything needs correcting, explain it in the chat before applying. When you’re happy, select Apply this change. Once the result appears, check the edited area and the surrounding details. You can download the result or continue with another change. Your next edit starts from the latest result, so you can build on the changes you’ve already made. The same workflow can change lighting, remove an object or reposition furniture. Just describe what you need. If you prefer to choose the editing method yourself, open Advanced. Start with one clear request, review the result and refine your design step by step.
